This incredibly rare and highly sought after plant is a strong bloomer and can produce up to 50 blooms each season when mature. It’s an excellent landscape peony, displaying flowers nicely on upright to slightly arching stems, with beautiful dark green foliage that lasts well into fall. This Itoh produces many lateral buds—which extend its flowering time—that have a mild but pleasant fragrance that brings in pollinators from everywhere.
